The Christmas vibe fills the air as the Quezon City government, through the Office of the ViceMayor Gian Sotto and Eton Properties, successfully celebrated its annual parol-making contest with a lot of prizes and surprises, plus an all-night concert at Eton Centris, Quezon City.
Now on its second year, more than 31 barangays competed to vie for the much-anticipated parol-making contest entitled, “Kumukutikutitap II: Maningning na Pasko ng Pamilyang Pinoy.” All entries are exhibited and lit nightly at Eton Centris until the end of this year.
The event was graced by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and ViceMayor Gian Sotto together with Eton Properties, Tanduay Distillers, Inc., and Asia Brewery, Inc. executives led by Kyle C. Tan, Executive Director of Eton Properties.

To the winners, congratulations and thank you for sharing with us your artistic gifts,” says Eton Properties Executive Director Kyle Tan .
For this year’s winners, Barangay Silangan bagged the grand prize winner, , while Barangay San Antonio and Barangay Bagumbayan came 2nd and 3rd, respectively. There were also 10 barangays that were given recognition for their notable participations.
The event was also highlighted with overflowing drinks for the public from Asia Brewery and a free concert called “It’s Vibing December: A Thanksgiving Concert” led by today’s leading OPM bands and artists such as December Avenue, Gracenote, Hey June!, Kiss N Tell, JEM, Better Days, Thevto, and Carissa.
