Eton implements policies and programs to protect our client’s privacy and personal data. As part of its policy, we invite our clients to take the time to read the following to guide them in relation to cybersecurity.
Please don't open any attachments or click any links from suspicious emails or text messages. If you think an email, call, or text is suspicious or fraudulent, feel free to report or email your concerns to dpo@eton.com.ph.
Emails/Text Messages/Web Pages:
Suspicious or fraudulent emails, text messages, or webpages not from eton.com.ph may contain:
• Links to websites that look like eton.com.ph but did not originate from Eton. Note: Legitimate Eton email communications have a dot before eton.com.ph. We'll never send emails with links to an IP address (string of numbers), such as http://123.456.789.123/eton.com/. If the link takes you to a site that is not a legitimate Eton domain, then it is likely phishing.
•Requests to update payment information that did not originate from a legitimate eton.com.ph address;
•Attachments or prompts to install software on your device;
•Typos or grammatical errors;
•Forged email addresses to make it look like the email is coming from eton.com.ph; and/or
•Instructions to make wire transfers to foreign banks.
Phone Calls:
While some departments at Eton will make outbound calls to clients, Eton will never ask you to disclose or verify sensitive personal information, or offer you a restructuring of payments you do not expect.
In case you receive suspicious or fraudulent correspondences or phone calls, please report to dpo@eton.com.ph.
Important: Payment Instructions
Please transact all your payments with duly authorized payment channels of Eton.
If you received an email, call, text and payment instruction that is suspicious or fraudulent, feel free to report or email your concerns to dpo@eton.com.ph.
